St. Elizabeth's Bakery

I skeptically began my foray into sourdough about five years ago, since then we have replaced all our family's store bought bread products with homemade sourdough items and haven't looked back. As I've expanded my baking I've made it to the point of having a bit too much bread for my small family to eat, so I wanted to try offering it to the community via the Atchison Farmers Market.

I use all organic flours in my baking and try to find organic versions of other ingredients whenever feasible. Other ingredients are locally sourced, I grow some of the herbs and spices that I use for focaccia toppings in my backyard garden and love when I can combine my gardening and baking hobbies.

Since moving to Atchison almost four years ago my husband and I have been so impressed with the community in this town. We love to support local businesses when we can and especially love shopping at the Farmers Market in the summer. It's something I am excited to be a part of!
