St. Andre Orchard specializes in gourmet fruits. Eleven years ago, the Rziha family began planting the first trees in order to provide an opportunity for their nine children to learn the virtues or hard work and service to others. Now, the trees (and most of the children) are grown, but the orchard continues to produce high quality fruits.
St. Andre Orchard is a low spray orchard that prioritizes both healthy fruit and improving the environment. Children are constantly eating the fruit right off the tree requiring an emphasis on spraying as seldom as possible and trying to avoid sprays that are toxic to mammals. We have been selling at the Atchison Farmer's market for many years now. We know many of the customers and look forward to continuing to get to know even more.
