Sauteed Scallions (Green Onions) 1 tb vegetable oil 5 bunches green onions ½ teasp. grated lemon peel ¼ teasp salt dash of ground pepper 2 radishes (optional) In 12-inch skillet, heat vegetable oil until hot over medium-high heat. Add green onions, lemon peel, salt, and pepper and cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water and cook, stirring, 5 to 7 minutes longer, until green onions are tender and lightly browned and liquid evaporates. Toss with radishes if you like.
