L&R Farms

L&R Farms is a family owned & operated business developed in 1999 for local produce production & marketing. Each season, we begin in early January by starting all of our flowers, herbs & bedding plants from seed to later transplant into our high tunnels or fields. It is our mission to provide a wide variety of top quality, locally grown produce throughout the growing season to meet the needs of our community.

L&R Farms is State Inspected & Certified in our Food Safety Practices. We stay current with the FSMA RULE via Webinars, Workshops & Monthly Newsletters from the Produce Safety Alliance sponsored by Cornell University.

Our produce is available every Wednesday & Saturday; May through October at the Atchison Farmers" Market, Pony Express Farmers' Market in St. Joseph, MO. & at the Parkville Farmers' Market. See each website for specific hours of operation. L&R Farms also markets some of our produce locally at area retailers in Atchison, KS., Weston, MO. & Platte City, MO.
