AFM Supports Community Needs

The Atchison Farmers' Market is part of our local community. As such, AFM supports activities in the community. On this market day, Saturday, September 11, we will have two public service events at the Market. Both will be at tables in the Market plaza area (under the 5th Street viaduct.)
There is a great need in our community, in fact across the U.S., for school bus drivers. The Apple Bus company will have a table at the Market with information for anyone interested in a job.
Also, the Kansas Black Farmers Association, will be at the Market with information about the vaccines that are available to help stop COVID 19. They welcome you to stop by with responsible questions about the vaccines and where they can be obtained. They received a federal grant to help promulgate information to help quell the pandemic.
